Just Go #2

August 27th, 2012

I’m starting to believe that the older I get the more important it is to take risks otherwise you end up being CONSUMED with the question: WHAT IF?   The need for security and certainty is such a comforting thought, isn’t?  But, after this summer, I’ve come to the conclusion that everything is temporary so…might as well do things that we are passionate about.  Experiencing diversity requires embracing risk of the unknown and uncertain. Experiencing diversity requires us to have  experiences that are new to our senses.  I think  that in order to experience it fully we must be willing to take risks.

I also believe that when we stop taking risks we stop living. We stop growing. We stop learning.  So just go..because chances are that if  something excites and scares you at the same time, you probably should do it.  At least thats what I’m telling myself.
